Born and raised in NYC, and greatly influenced by the creative energy of the ’70s and ’80s, Francisco Trunzo comes from a multi-ethnic and culturally diverse background. He has lived and traveled all over the Americas and Italy.
Using his unique perspective he hopes to stimulate the mind's eye by influencing the viewer to see people, places, and things in an unconventional light. His emphasis is on abstract and conceptual photography.
He uses multiple formats and incorporates both traditional darkroom and inkjet printing methods to bring his archival black and white images to reality.
